Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out how theoryslabs.com may and may not be used. It applies to everyone who accesses the Site — visitors, account holders and customers — whether or not they buy anything, and it applies to automated access as well as to people.

It supplements and is incorporated into the Terms of Service. Breaching it is a material breach of those Terms.

Restrictions on what may be done with the products we sell are not repeated here. They are set out in the Research Use Only Disclaimer and in the prohibited uses section of the Terms of Service, and they apply in addition to this policy.

You must not:

• use a bot, crawler, spider, scraper, headless browser or other automated means to access the Site, except that a well-behaved search-engine crawler may index it in accordance with our robots directives;
• systematically extract, harvest, copy or compile any part of the Site — including product listings, descriptions, specifications, analytical data, pricing or images — whether manually or automatically, or build a database, catalogue, index or price-comparison service from it;
• use content from the Site to train, fine-tune, evaluate or benchmark a machine-learning model without our prior written permission;
• circumvent, disable or attempt to defeat any access control, rate limit, authentication requirement, paywall, gating of pricing to signed-in account holders, robots directive or security feature;
• access any part of the Site, account, data or system that you are not authorised to access, or probe for a way to do so;
• scan, penetration-test, fuzz, brute-force or otherwise test the vulnerability of the Site or its infrastructure without our prior written permission;
• reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the Site or its software, except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits and cannot be excluded by contract;
• send automated traffic at a rate, or in a pattern, that places an unreasonable or disproportionate load on the Site or degrades it for anyone else; or
• frame, mirror, deep-link into, or present the Site in a way that misrepresents its source, or remove or obscure any notice on it.

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please report it to support@theoryslabs.com rather than testing it further, and give us a reasonable opportunity to fix it before disclosing it. We will not pursue a good-faith reporter who acts within the limits of this paragraph, does not access or exfiltrate other people’s data, and does not degrade the service.

You must not:

• register or use an account with false, misleading or incomplete information, including a false name, a false age, a false claim of researcher qualification, or a false statement about your intended use of a product;
• register an account for, or in the name of, another person or organisation without authority;
• share your credentials, allow someone else to place orders through your account as if they were you, or sell or transfer an account;
• open or use multiple accounts to evade a limit, restriction, suspension, price gate or promotional condition;
• use, or attempt to use, a payment method you are not authorised to use, including a stolen, cloned or compromised card, or an account or wallet belonging to someone else;
• test stolen card numbers by attempting transactions on the Site;
• abuse a discount code, bundle price, volume tier, referral or promotion — including by stacking codes contrary to their terms, using a code you were not given, generating codes, or creating accounts or orders whose purpose is to extract a promotional benefit;
• place orders you do not intend to pay for or accept, or systematically refuse deliveries;
• submit a knowingly false claim of non-delivery, damage, or shortage, or a knowingly dishonest payment dispute, as described in the chargebacks sections of the Terms of Service and the Return & Refund Policy; or
• attempt to buy products through the Site for onward supply to anyone who intends a use the Research Use Only Disclaimer prohibits.

Raising a genuine payment dispute or a genuine order complaint is not a breach of this policy. What is prohibited is dishonesty.

Where the Site or our support channels let you submit content — a review, a comment, a question, an image, or a message — you must not submit anything that:

• states or implies that any product is safe or effective for use in a human or an animal;
• describes, requests, recommends or asks about ingestion, injection, inhalation, topical use, dosing, dosage protocols, cycles, stacks, administration, or the preparation of a product for administration to a human or an animal;
• makes a therapeutic, medical, preventive, curative, diagnostic or veterinary claim, or reports personal or third-party human or animal use;
• is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, hateful, harassing, threatening or abusive, including towards our staff;
• impersonates any person or organisation, or misrepresents your identity, qualifications or affiliation, including by posting a review as an unaffiliated customer when you are not;
• infringes anyone’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
• discloses another person’s personal information without their consent;
• is unsolicited advertising, spam, or a link intended to promote an unrelated product or site; or
• contains malware, or code intended to interfere with the Site or its visitors.

We may moderate, decline to publish, edit for length or formatting, or remove any submission, at our discretion and without notice. Content that reports or recommends human or animal use is removed as a matter of course, because it contradicts the Research Use Only Disclaimer regardless of who wrote it. Copyright complaints are handled under the DMCA Copyright Policy.

You must not:

• introduce or attempt to introduce a virus, worm, trojan, ransomware, keystroke logger, or any other malicious or harmful code to the Site or to anyone using it;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, our servers, our databases, our email, our accounts with providers, or any account belonging to another customer;
• conduct a denial-of-service or distributed denial-of-service attack, a credential-stuffing or password-spraying attack, or any other attack on the availability or integrity of the Site;
• intercept, alter or interfere with traffic between the Site and its visitors, or attempt to read data in transit;
• interfere with, disable or circumvent any security-related feature, logging or monitoring;
• use the Site to attack, scan or send unlawful traffic to any third party; or
• impersonate the Site, our brand or our staff — including by registering a confusingly similar domain, sending email that appears to come from us, or setting up a page or profile that purports to be Theorys Labs.

Where an attack or intrusion affects personal information, we act as described in the security section of the Privacy Policy.

You must not use the Site, an account, or anything bought through the Site:

• to commit or facilitate fraud, forgery, identity theft, or theft of goods or payments;
• to launder money or move the proceeds of crime, or to structure transactions to conceal their source or purpose;
• to evade sanctions, export controls, denied-party restrictions or customs requirements, or to arrange delivery to a person, entity or destination we are prohibited from dealing with;
• to harm, endanger, drug or poison any person or animal, or to prepare or supply anything for that purpose;
• to supply, resell or distribute a product unlawfully, or to anyone who intends a prohibited use;
• to misrepresent the nature, contents, value or intended use of a shipment to a carrier, an insurer, a payment provider or any authority; or
• for any other purpose that is unlawful where you are, where we are, or where the product is going.

Where we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, or that a breach is being attempted, we may take any of the following steps, in any combination, with or without notice, and at our discretion:

• restrict, throttle, block or terminate your access to the Site, including by IP address, network or device;
• suspend or close your account, and decline to open a new one;
• cancel pending orders, refuse orders you place in future, and stop serving you;
• block a payment method from being used with us;
• remove, refuse to publish or edit content;
• withhold or reverse a promotional benefit obtained in breach of this policy;
• retain records of the conduct for as long as needed to enforce this policy or defend a claim;
• report the matter to, and cooperate with, our payment processor, a card network, a carrier, a regulator or law enforcement; and
• pursue any other remedy available to us at law or in equity, including damages and injunctive relief, and recover our reasonable costs where the law allows.

Our response will be proportionate to what has happened, and we will usually contact you first where the conduct looks like a mistake rather than an attack. But we are not obliged to give notice, to give reasons, or to take any particular step before acting, and choosing not to act on one occasion does not waive our right to act on another. Refusing service does not entitle you to compensation, and does not affect any amount you already owe us.

If you see something on or through the Site that breaches this policy — a review recommending human use, a listing or account impersonating Theorys Labs, a security problem, or an attempt to misuse our products — please tell us at support@theoryslabs.com.

Include as much detail as you can: the URL or page, the account or username if you know it, the date and time, what you saw, and a screenshot or copy of the content. We review reports and act where appropriate, but we cannot promise a particular outcome or update you on the result. Copyright complaints should be sent under the DMCA Copyright Policy, which has its own required form of notice.

We may update this policy as the Site changes and as new forms of abuse appear. Updates take effect when posted, with a new “last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the policy as it then stands.
